This is a health matching account intended to be used to multiply your after tax cash contributions for the explicit purpose of medical and expanded medical (see what's covered) expenses.  It is not a cash savings account, therefore no cash can be withdrawn at an ATM. In addition, if you decide to cancel your account with a health matching balance in it, it has no cash value therefore no cash can be returned to you. Our recommendation would be to pick a plan that fits your budget and a health matching balance that you will most likely use on an ongoing bases. 

 

Our intent is to help you save money on your out of pocket medical and expanded medical expenses using the guidelines set forth for health matching accounts. If you do not think you will ever have a medical expense or all of your healthcare needs are already completely covered with no out of pocket expense to you, we recommend you NOT purchasing this plan; however, if you do anticipate any out of pocket medical expenses of any kind (to include elective cosmetic procedures, dental, eye care, etc...), we think these plans are great and will serve you and your family well.
